"One of the joys of this position is introducing myself to first time visitors and acquainting them with all that the Trinity family has to offer them.

It is thanks to the grace of God and the love of the people already at Trinity that so many visitors quickly decide this is the church God wants them to be part of.

It is awesome to see how quickly they become involved in activities and classes, as well as worship."

Who is Sheila Dunn ?

Five Questions For Sheila...

1.  Who would you invite to a fantasy dinner?

My guests would be C.S. Lewis, St. Paul, my son and daughter, Thomas Jefferson and a medieval monk.

2.  What is your fondest memory?

My fondest memory is curling up on my father’s lap while he smoked his pipe and watched Gorgeous George wrestling on TV.  Daddy died when I was 11 and I never felt that security again until I completely turned my life over to God in 1971.

3.  Tell us your idea of a perfect day.

My perfect day...being alone in the red rock desert at Arches National Park on an October day in the silence and  sunshine.

4.  What is your biggest challenge?

I think it is staying focused. My mind flits all over the place and my default mode is to pick up a book and get lost in reading rather than settle down to the task at hand.

5.  When people come to Trinity Church, what do you want them to know?

The one thing I want to make sure people realize when they come to Trinity is...there is always more. We can always get to know God better, understand His Word better, feel more joy, have more love for others, allow the Holy Spirit more fully into our lives.

Sheila can be found at most of the activities at Trinity; she is seen here dressed up for the Night in Bethlehem, where she was a spice merchant.

Her smile brightens up the lives of everyone, from shut-ins to new babies, and from those experiencing pain or loss to those finding joy and salvation.

Sheila has been a part of Trinity's family since 2004 and loves connecting with members and visitors.
